OUR HISTORY
Our story began with a simple dream – to create a haven for food lovers, where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the scent of sizzling bacon, and every bite tells a tale of culinary expertise. Established in 2016 Good Food & Company has grown from a neighborhood gem to a beloved culinary destination in Atlanta. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for serving authentic Southern cuisine, we have become an integral part of the vibrant Atlanta food scene.
Our Co-Founders Osiris Ballard and Chef Anthony Sanders came together to form their own distinctive restaurant group, one that was based on great food and great company. In 2016 Atlanta Breakfast Club was opened in downtown Atlanta, celebrating Southern breakfast cuisine and bringing a new element to the city’s food scene. Located in the heart of Atlanta, the Atlanta Breakfast Club solidified their vision and the importance of delivering memorable experiences to our guests through our cuisine, ambience and great service. As we expanded our restaurant group to locations across Atlanta, this continued to remain true. Seven years later, it is more vital than ever for us to follow this essential recipe for success to raise the bar even higher for our city’s incredible dining landscape. Good Food & Company is a brand united by love, loyalty, and dedication to food and hospitality.
The next location that was opened carries the name ABC Chicken & Waffles—Nitro Coffee Counter, offering its chicken and waffles and nitro craft beverages and located at 340 Auburn Ave. NE. Osiris Ballard and Chef Anthony Sanders say “The Civil Rights District and the revitalizing area of Sweet Auburn and the Old Fourth Ward was the ideal spot for our second location,” “We were honored to be a part of this catalytic development with Good Places and Invest Atlanta, helping revitalize an area with such a powerful historical beauty.”
In 2021 we acquired Le Petit Marche. The gourmet market and cafe opened in Kirkwood in 2008 and has since become a staple for the community. After 13 years of serving the local community we continued to honor its culture and preserve its legacy. We took over the operations and kept the dream alive. Guests' favorites remain and the vibe is still funky and family-filled.
We opened our Atlanta Breakfast Club location at City of Refuge in 2021. The Atlanta Breakfast Club at City of Refuge not only feeds your soul but also nurtures the dreams of others, embodying the true spirit of community and kindness.
